All in….

All in....After much unpacking and repacking; and a lot of help from my Dad with organization, we were once again – ALL IN!

See those nicely tied bows and perfect looking distribution of weight?!  Yeah, that’s all my Dad’s doing!  I am a very good an excellent Tetris player and packing reminds me of playing Tetris!  But my dad has got the experience, he’s a Master Jedi packer!!  My job was to fill the bins and boxes, and he did the rest!

So we left my parents house in Virginia on Sunday and headed down the Blue Ridge Parkway! What a beautiful way to leave Virginia!! We were traveling with our ‘little’ (noting size is very important here, you will see why soon!) trailer o’stuff again which is not as full as it was when we got to Virginia! Thankfully we were able to leave all of our winter clothing with Grandma and Granddaddy! YAY!!!   Hard to believe when we packed these boxes just three weeks ago, we were wearing gloves, hats and winter coats!!  It was so cold in New York, that all the tape on the boxes just fell off by the time we hit Virginia.  Either that, or I bought cheap tape?!  LOL

For those of you wondering, the grass IS greener outside of New York – literally!!! Haha  Check it out, big fat juicy blades of green grass!!!  (Unlike the drab brown grass in New York!)  Even the dogs were excited to once again have grass!!  Brady has been searching high and low for our grass and New York – well, let me tell you, his dreams have been answered now, he has hit the motherload!!  He instantly turns into a cow grazing on the freshest blades he can find!

So we drove from Virginia to Savannah, Georgia on Sunday.  Anyone have a guess how long it took for us to head south before we saw some big juicy Palm Trees?!  The first palm trees we could find were in South Carolina!!!  Palm trees will always remind me of being a kid and going to the beach in Florida with my family!  Once we started looking for them, we saw tons of them all the way from South Carolina down to Florida!  These beauties were in Georgia next to our Hotel!!  Megan asks everyone we meet if these palm trees have coconuts?!

So far we are enjoying our time in the truck, and haven’t run out of things to talk about, dream about and to see. But just passing through all these locations and not getting to explore has been tough!!  So for now, we are ALL IN, and soon enough, we will be pulling out of Florida, with our new ‘home’ tagging along behind us!!  We are so close!!
